As a consultant I aim to create positive sparks and innovative and appreciative ways of working within and between organisations. With 20 years’ experience in international development and peacebuilding, I offer:
- Leadership and management development programmes
- Organisational culture change processes
- Organisational cohesion and healing
- Strategic planning for projects, programmes and organisations
- Processes to achieve organisational internal and external congruence with values
- Programme impact analysis and development
- Monitoring, evaluation and learning
- Leadership and executive coaching
I am a sharp analyst and strategic thinker, as well as being practical and action orientated. I have worked in demanding positions including Regional Director and Country Director, primarily in Asia, and I bring experience from the Middle East and Africa too. I have consulted for and worked with American Friends Service Committee, British Quakers, Conciliation Resources, Humanity & Inclusion, the Quaker UN Office, Sightsavers and UNDP. I am currently a member of the Rethinking Security Council, a Trustee for Sense International and for Lansbury House Trust Fund and a volunteer prison visitor. Committed to the values of authenticity, justice and equality, I work with integrity, compassion and creativity to spark awe, connection and brilliance with my colleagues and associates.
I am currently evaluating a complex global project with appreciative enquiry and deep learning priorities in collaboration with Joe McMartin. Together we bring a wide skill set and range of international, US and UK focussed experience. Joe and I share a common set of values and enjoy working creatively together. I can curate an aligned team of consultants to meet your needs.
