If you recognise where you are is not quite the place you want to be

If you are ready to take the time and effort to reflect deeply…

If you want to experience more joy in your work and life…

And you are ready to make changes, maybe you are ready for coaching?

‘I believe there are many ambitious, curious people with amazing ideas, who do not yet recognise their own potential, and have not found their authentic voice. People sometimes equate ambition and success with being hard-nosed and self-serving. But authentic success lies in inner clarity, congruence and conviction. A person’s highest dreams can be realised with grace and kindness’

Lucy Roberts

I am an executive and leadership coach, and I work with people facing challenges, or wishing to find more professional fulfilment in the charity, government, international and private sectors. I specialise in working with people who want greater precision in their work, and are seeking a higher impact. Maybe you feel under-appreciated? Possibly you have creative ideas which are not manifesting? Or perhaps you are daunted by changes on the horizon? Coaching can reframe perceived obstacles as manageable processes, and reignite your enthusiasm for life.

If we agree to work together, your evolution will be my priority, and you will receive my complete attention. What’s more, we will have fun as we go. When we are working together you can rely on me to accompany you through the changes ahead, which you will navigate with style and grace.

Coaching is goal orientated and forward looking. I come to ask you insightful questions and create the space for you to undertake deep and intuitive thinking that leads to practical and tangible outcomes. I will support you as you formulate precision around where you want to be, and how to get there. Clarifying your thoughts and goals is iterative, and this exploration forms a significant part of the process. Good coaching will bring you a lucid understanding of next steps.

Appreciation

I came to coaching a sceptic but encouraged by line manager for what it could offer and I am now a convert. Lucy has a real gift for this – putting me at ease, asking the questions that need to be asked while leaving time for me to answer. I held the answers and Lucy facilitated me getting to them without judgement or helping me to create the usual excuses for why I had not achieved my aims. I am delighted with the results of the sessions and have a plan moving forwards to maintain them, if I need a reset or additional coaching I will be going back to Lucy.

Craig – Executive Assistant

‘I like the questions you asked of me, getting me to think about different perspectives, and getting me to really question myself too. I think asking me questions really helps me to grow and widen my thought process and I enjoy being challenged to come up with answers. You helped me feel at ease. I think we gelled, and I appreciate your style. You seem calm and thoughtful and I think that’s really important for me, as the calmness helps me to slow down too.’

Ravinder Hale, HR Training & Projects, Charity Sector

I’ve found working with Lucy an enjoyable and insightful experience.  She is easy to build a rapport with, has a natural coaching style and an ability to ask the right questions, to narrow the focus of the session on the important issues.  The sessions have made me think deeper about topics which isn’t something I tend to do unless I’m pushed and has resulted in a few ‘lightbulb’ moments that have genuinely helped me to be more effective in my role.

Zoë Bishop, Head of People Concepts & Development

‘What it [the coaching] did achieve was a feeling of weight-relief over worries that have been quite deeply-rooted for a while. I really felt as though my mental tectonic plates shifted after we spoke, and I felt much more optimistic and excited! I also felt validated and a little more confident, which is a problem that crosses both personal and work-life spheres’
